David personally account directed the UK & Ireland Subway consumer and franchise account for over a 7 year period. His ability to advise locally, regionally, pan regionally and then on a national platform through board of Directors brought the uk together under one creative strategy and ad spend, thus creating a more cohesive UK context message and delivering higher level ad spend media buying power.

His approach of getting the franchisees to work together more harmoniously was the catalyst for major growth and establishing Subway as one of the major players in the UK market.

As a result the US we were able to fast track the brand to a national fast food status by increasing visibility and enabling major sites to be open across the uk and Ireland.

During this seven year timeline the restaurant network went from strength to strength starting from 5 restaurants to over 1100 combined with over 150 regional franchises sold.

David is a people person and someone who pushes the status quo to get everyone involved behind the business objectives.

Our proudest moment was launching Subway on Channel 4 for the first time, which gave our community a true sense that we had finally arrived. The rest is history.
